Mission-driven company

Our commitments are not a marketing promise.
They are written into our bylaws.

Established as a mission-driven company under article L.210-10 of the French Commercial Code, Impalia has written three concrete, measurable, enforceable commitments into its bylaws.

A legal decision,
not a marketing argument.

The mission-driven company status, created by France’s 2019 PACTE law, requires three elements: a purpose written into the bylaws, definition of enforceable social and environmental objectives, and annual verification by an independent third party above a certain threshold. The exact opposite of a slogan.

We made this choice because it makes drift impossible. An agency that claims to democratize communication can, under revenue pressure, slide toward only high-budget clients. The legal framework forces us to measure each year whether we hold our course. If we don’t, we say so publicly.

Our three commitments.

Commitment 1

Accessibility

Make professional communication accessible to budget-constrained organisations by democratising tools and strategies once reserved for large accounts.

Indicator: share of revenue with organizations under ten employees.
Target: above 60% within three years.
Commitment 2

Positive impact

Promote responsible communication, support mission-driven companies in showcasing their social and environmental mission.

Indicator: number of "impact" clients supported (ESUS-certified, mission-driven companies, cooperatives, public-interest associations).
Target: above 20% of the portfolio within three years.
Commitment 3

Digital inclusion

Contribute to the digital up-skilling of small and mid-size businesses, reduce the digital divide in access to digital marketing.

Indicator: teaching and transmission hours delivered each year (university interventions, workshops, free resources published).
Target: above 200 cumulative hours per year.

Our first report will be published
in January 2027.

Per the requirements of the status, our first annual progress report on the three commitments will be published on this page in January 2027, covering fiscal year 2026. You’ll find numbers, honest commentary on what worked and what didn’t.
